Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What part of the country do you service? A. We travel from Bangor, Maine to Miami, Florida and as far west as Pennsylvania. We do not go to New York City or to the Florida Panhandle.
Q. Do you fill out condition reports? A. Yes, full inspections are done at pick up and delivery when the customer is present and a copy of the condition reports are given to the customer at both times on every personnel vehicle we haul.
Q. Do you have insurance that covers vehicles in transit? A. Yes, we are fully licensed and insured to cover all vehicles. Insurance certificates are available upon request.We are not responsible for any contents placed in the vehicle or any damage those contents cause.
Q. What type of vehicles do you haul? A. We carry all personal cars and trucks that run and have brakes. We do not haul motorcycles, boats, or trailers of any kind.
Q. Do you allow personal items in the vehicle? A. Yes, but only up to 150lbs.
Q. When do you pick up and deliver? A. We leave Maine on Fridays, arrive in Florida on Monday or Tuesday and arrive back in Maine on the following Friday. Pick ups and deliveries anywhere between Maine and Florida are determined using those days. Hence, if you are going to Florida from Massachusettes your vehicle will most likely be picked up on Saturday for a Monday or Tuesday delivery.
Q. Do you pick-up and deliver door to door? A. We pick-up and deliver from and to large parking lots in your hometown. Residental areas normally have too narrow streets and/or low hanging limbs and powerlines. Most any large parking lot or shopping center will suffice.
Q. Do you give updates on when my vehicle will arrive? A. Yes, our drivers are equipped with cellular phones and call with estimated pick up and delivery times. They also keep in constant contact with the office.
Q. What equipment do you use? A. We use only late model, specialized equipment made by the industry leaders, Peterbilt, Western Star, and Cottrell. This ensures reliability for meeting the needs of our customers.
Q. How many vehicles can you haul at a time? A. We have ten car haulers which allows us to haul anywhere from one to ten vehicles at a time but for the safety of our customers vehicles we limit our loads to accomodate the various size of vehicles and rarely carry more than nine.
Q. What form of payment do you accept? A. We accept cash, check, bank draft, or money orders. We do not accept credit cards.
